mediawiki lowlight is idea to de-emphasize text.. why highlight (make more busy) when you can lowlight, meaning easily make text gray and silver..

commas before words might do it.. could be simpler

• fewer commas maybe hard to see or cause errors..
• end of line software should insert close tags..
• tweak should work like existing bold /bold etc tags in mediawiki
• or maybe simpler ie auto close tags at end of line
